I successfully installed the XP drivers to get the Wireless card working. But in something I can only attribute to the nature of the drivers, I have been seeing many network errors, such as:. Computer will sometimes disconnect from network. Wireless Card will get disabled, and cannot be enabled again. Card will not detect any connection, even if there are available ones. (Checked through other devices). Computer won't recognize card.

This problems will only get fixed after a full system shut down and power on, reboot will not work to fix problems. Does someone know if there are drivers for my card that will work better in Windows 7? Well, I just got hold of build 7022. It seems it got leaked, and a friend of mine downloaded it (as for where he got it, your best bet would be to Google it).

Install the XP Drivers from the site. Update drivers to Vista 7.6.0.154 version from the, via the Device Driver. This were the exact same steps I followed in build 7000, and my card works flawlessly.

I have had the same problem with the Aspire One I tried all the drivers from legitimate sources (not driver rip offs) finally I installed the original XP Driver for the Aspire One the only problems I have noticed is when power saving turns on it sometimes kills the driver. I have disabled the power saving features while plugged in but either I am missing something, or Windows 7 thinks it knows better than I do. But for the most part it is working fine as long as I do not leave the computer on for long periods of time. I am Impressed with the OS other than that. Well, I just got hold of build 7022.

Go to Start/Search and type devmgmt.msc, right click the devmgmt results and Run As Administrator. In the Elevated Device Manager any devices with yellow flags need drivers. On an Internet Computer Go to the link that JMPC provided and search for model # AOD257. Choose your version of Windows 7 (eg) 32 bit or 64 bit and download the Chipset, LAN and Wireless driver for your model and any other drivers you need from the Device Manager save them to a USB Flash drive and install them on the troubled computer.
