One of my friend recently imported a Lenovo G580 from U.S to India. The laptop comes with Windows 8 pre-installed. He has taken the backup using One Key Recovery 8.0 and the backup has been saved D: Lenovo OneKey App OneKey Recovery, the backup is a total of 12 GB. After taking backup he has resized the C: partition. Now One Key Recovery is not working for Backup or Recovery.

The computer did not come with restore disks or product key. I am told the product key was embedded in the bios. I did a Belarc system search and it gave me a product key, but being told that that product key may not work since Lenovo installed a copy and not original.
